We lost Callum on Boxing day 2021, after he contracted Sepsis. It was the most unexpected and a massive shock to us all.
At 23 years of age he had spent most of his short life facing some of the toughest challenges anyone should have to take on. When he was born he was diagnosed with a very rare condition ,Lesch Nyhan Syndrome.
Please look it up and see for yourself some of these challenges, some of them quite harrowing and remarkable at the same time.
To do something in his memory and raise some money for a charity chosen by his Mum & Dad the idea was put out to do the 3 Peaks challenge. To climb the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales.
The Charity chosen is 2Wish. They are a charity running for 10 years that offer support, counselling and some therapy to families of young people under the age of 25 that have passed away .
They were and continue to be a great help to Callum’s Mum and Dad.
