Story
**UPDATE** Well believe it or not we did it, thanks for all the good luck messages along the way, in the middle of the night when bones ached and muscles stopped working we logged on and read your messages in the van and it really helped! You can still donate through this page, all the team and the Fire Fighters Charity really appreciate your support, thanks for making a difference.**UPDATE**
On 19th June 2011 our team of sprightly 40 something’s is taking part in the National Three Peaks Challenge, a mountain endurance race in which participants run / walk the three highest peaks of Great Britain; Ben Nevis, Scafell and Snowdon consecutively within 24 hours. The 8 sweaty blokes in a van, Dean Nankivell , Garry Jones, Damian O’Rourke, Tony Holt, Steve Boag, Phill Nelson, Phil Hall and Ian Duckworth appreciate your visit to our site, so please donate now and pass this on, thank you.
We will putting ourselves through it for The Fire Fighters Charity which helps fire fighters when they need it most, providing vital support services for all fire service personnel. With three specialist centers across the UK The Fire Fighters Charity provides fire fighters with the help they need to recover from injury, surgery or illness, so they can get back to their job of saving lives.
It costs over £9 million every year to keep the charity running, and with no government funding, they are completely reliant upon donations and fundraising, so your support is very much needed.
Thank you again for your donation, it is greatly appreciated.
