Story
Thanks for visiting my "Annual Event" fundraising page!
As most of you know, I was diagnosed with Leukaemia in October 2005. After a couple of years of being treated in Scotland's best hospitals, I'm now feeling fit enough to take on another huge challenge. A few Aussie mates and I have decided to raise some much need cash for the new Paul O'Gorman Leukaemia Research Centre that will open in Scotland very soon. It's an unreal building that will allow some of the finest researchers in the world to work on new medications and therapies for Leukaemia, Bone Marrow Transplants and give care to many of people in need of a cure to this tough disease....so this is the least I could do to help out and raise money for a good cause. All cash that we raise will be handed over to the new Centre from the Glasgow University Fund!
Please dig deep and sponsor my Annual Fundraiser online for when we attempt to take on the UK Three Peaks Challenge - climbing highest mountain in Scotland (Ben Nevis - 4,409 feet), Wales (Snowdon - 3,560 feet) and England (Scafell - 3,210feet) - 11,180 vertical feet and all in under 24 hours!!
Hopefully you will sponsor us now and help reach our goal of £6,000 - we promise to keep you updated on our training and to keep off the burgers until we reach the bottom of our final mountain...
Many thanks for your support!
