As promised, "Race For Charity" (formerly "Row For Charity") is back this year to raise money for a very worthwhile homeless charity here in the UK, St Mungo's Broadway, that you might have heard of. For those that haven't, St Mungo's Broadway (http://www.mungosbroadway.org.uk/) provides a bed and support to more than 2,500 people a night here in the UK who are either homeless or at risk, and work to prevent homelessness, helping about 25,000 people a year.Also a certain percentage of the money raised will be used specifically to support homeless women in the UK 

St Mungo's Broadway runs three registered care homes providing a high level of care to men and women with a history of homelessness and rough sleeping. Two of them are for older people with complex needs including poor physical health, and one works with all ages and has a focus on mental health. These care homes provide a long term secure and comfortable environment for residents who have been homeless or slept rough during their lives. 

Therefore, in a similar way that you helped us in supporting the Orphans in Need initiative last year, we are asking you to come forward once again and be part of this journey with us in trying to help this much needed humanitarian cause here in the UK and help us in achieving our objectives as a whole; without your help none of this would be possible
