We inform, educate, inspire, and engage to help young people with epilepsy.

Story

Scott, Olly, Alex, Marcus, Aldo, Murray & Ross are undertaking this challenge to raise funds towards the purchase of a Wheelyboat. This is wheelchair accessible boat that will allow all the students in wheelchairs at Young Epilepsy to access boating and make their water sports programme fully inclusive.  Quite simply the boat is needed to enable, include & facilitate Young Epilepsy students in accessing a fully vibrant “boating experience”.  To realise this, it has become apparent that a Wheelyboat is now fundamental.

We aim to paddle a canoe catamaran the length of the 3 longest lakes in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours. Our challenge will start in Scotland where we will paddle loch Awe (25miles), then we will drive to the lake district to paddle lake Windemere (11 miles) then our last stage will be to complete Llyn Tegid (7 miles) in Wales.

Our challenge will begin in the early hours of Monday 6th June and hopefully finish 24 hours later!!

Young Epilepsy is dedicated to standing up for children and young people with epilepsy. We’re here for them. But we need your support because epilepsy is limiting the chances of thousands of children today and may continue to do so for the rest of their lives. Together we create possible.
