Story
In memory of Danielle Hampson and to raise money for Cardiac Risk In The Young, 3 friends are running Manchester Marathon, followed by London marathon in the space of a week to support Cardiac Risk in the Young.
Danielle tragically passed away on 18th June 2022 at the age of 34, the morning after what should have been her wedding day. Everyone will remember Danielle as an amazing mother to her young son Bowie, loving fiancé to Tom, and a doting sister, daughter and friend.
Danielle was an inspiration to so many too. She was an incredibly talented dancer, performing with artists such as Spice Girls, Take That, Harry Styles and many more.
Friends of the family Josh Caffrey, Mike Fairclough and Dominic James are taking on the huge challenge of running 2 marathons in 1 week. Not only to raise money for an important cause, Cardiac Risk In The Young, but to ensure Danielle's legacy lives on.
Any donation is hugely appreciated by the lads and the family, and will make a massive difference to the important work that the charity does.
Thanks for your support.

Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions. With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young. By supporting CRY you will help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions. See how your support can help by visiting www.c-r-y.org.uk .
