We sadly lost him to cancer in the summer of 2009.  The Willow Foundation made it possible for the family to get out to some great events in the months whilst Matt was able to enjoy them.  This included top seats at Twickenham for a Six Nations game with a weekend in London.

UPDATE 24 MAY

Steve, Stuart, Richard, Dave B, Dave G, and Pete with a great offer of driving support from Ellie, have just completed the 3 Peak Challenge on 21 and 22 May.  This was climbing and descending Snowdon between 8pm and 10.40pm, Scafell Pike between 3.40am and 6.40am and Ben Nevis between 1.30pm and 6.40pm.  Overall that was 22hrs 40mins including the travel time.  The weather was fantastic and all that intensive training clearly helped to get us all through smiling.  The beer and pub food in Fort William on the Saturday evening afterwards was definitely needed.

We'd like to raise money for the Willow Foundation in Matt's honour to help give other seriously ill young adults and their families some great memories to keep with them.
