We did it - 36 hours 5 minutes.
On the 2nd July 2009, four members of staff from Irwin Mitchell LLP will be making an attempt at breaking the Guinness World Record for the Longest Darts Marathon. The record currently stands at 30 hours, we will be attempting to play for 36!
We will be playing the standard game of 501 as teams of two players. Play will be continuous with just a five minute break every hour.
The attempt is being made in a bid to raise money for the Cavendish Cancer Centre (details below), which is where you come in.
We are also looking for corporate sponsors who in return for a donation can have there name and logo displayed around the board.
In order for this to count as an offical world record we also need medical staff to be present throughout, if you would be able to help out please contact me at scott.flower@irwinmitchell.com
