Story
To mark the Independence Day of Ukraine I will be running 31km every day for 31 days starting on July 25 to celebrate 31 years of independence.
For the last 31 years Ukraine has been a free sovereign and democratic country. In February this year Russia’s full scale invasion of Ukraine is an attempt to destroy all that. It’s no secret that Russia is using appalling and devastating force against Ukraine, and happily targets civilians.
Ukraine turns 31 in August, so to celebrate this I will be running 31km every day for 31 days in the run up to it.
Like many Ukrainians I feel helpless, scared, and indescribably sad - for both my family and my country. So this challenge will raise money to help those back home. All money I raise will go directly to where it is needed most.
Whether you want to do 31 squats, 13 burpees, 3.1 miles running, 31m swim or 310km cycling. Our Ukrainian superstar Olga has committed to run 31km a day for 31 days (which is reason in itself to donate). You are invited to do as much as you desire the key thing is to be involved.
