This year I created 31 ink drawings as part of INKTOBER2021. One drawing a day, every day of October – and no cheating – what kept me going was my plan to do this as a charity art sale for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). 

MSF does fantastic work providing vital medical care to people across the globe - in conflict zones, natural disasters and epidemics. 

Digital copy: £5

Original artwork: £50 
(this could buy the personal protective equipment for a doctor treating ebola)

Digital copies of all 31 drawings: £100 
(this could provide a folding stretcher to help patients who have suffered emergency trauma)

Art Sale - How does it work?

Digital copies:
If you wish to purchase a digital copy, just make your donation and send an email to cg.sketches@gmail.com telling me which drawing(s) you would like (number or title). I will send you a high quality PDF of the digitised drawing.

You can print your digital copy and put it up in your home, use it as a colouring page, get it printed on a t-shirt – what you do with it is up to you, as long as it’s for personal use only. If in doubt, just get in touch. 

Original artwork:
If you are buying original artwork, please email me at cg.sketches@gmail.com before making a donation to make sure that the drawing you are interested in is still available. All drawings are individual pieces - once they are gone, they are gone. If you are outside the UK, please let me know so we can figure out if shipping is feasible.

All original drawings are black ink on sketching paper (some original also feature gold or other inks), signed in pencil. Original size is ca 208 x 290 mm. You can find photographs of the original drawings on instagram @goebelchristina

This is very slightly smaller than A4, I can keep the sketch paper in it’s original state (retaining rough sketchbook edges) or trim to a smaller size (e.g. 8 x 10 Inches) for you depending on preference.
