Multiple Sclerosis is a condition that has seen huge progress in its treatment. Where I work, we have a Geordie Quality Manager who happens to have this. When Roy arrived, he was struggling to walk with the aid of two sticks. Today, he walks unaided and, with great support from the Multiple Sclerosis Society, he manages to live a decent life – but it is a constant battle with the medication and treatments. Of course, we still don’t understand a bloody word he says, but you can’t have everything. Please do consider helping the MS Society support others to live rather than just exist.
