Story
The communities of Worcestershire have been truly amazing in supporting staff and patients of the Worcestershire hospitals through the coronavirus pandemic. The support has been overwhelming and humbling from cereal bars to hand cream and everything in between - it was so appreciated by the staff. The weekly "clap for carers" was so moving each week and really lifted our spirits in very challenging times.
Now we want to thank the communities that supported us and give a little back. We have chosen two charities to support:
- the Trussell Trust which gives essential support for those most in need
- Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity which provided much needed support during the pandemic by co-ordinating and distributing the 100's of items donated by the public, making sure essential items reached the front line
