An incredible 30 people are diagnosed with a brain tumour every day in the UK. Therefore I am taking part in the Brainstrust 30miles for 30k campaign.

Meningiomas can cause a range of problems from sight loss to seizures. Because a meningioma is not usually malignant sufferers often find they fall between the gaps when in comes to support and advice. This is why we are fundraising for the Braintrust's new webpage which will provide information and support from everything from symptom management to financial advice, and most importantly support people like us to live well with a brain tumour. 

16th December is Janice's birthday and also one year since she had a craniotomy. To mark this special date 30 friends and family will run, walk, swim or cycle one mile each, representing the 30 people diagnosed daily with a brain tumour.
