Story

Friends Colin Lawson, Andy Howes, Dave & Harry (the +1) Mitchell are walking the National 3 Peaks over 3 days to mark & celebrate Colin’s 60th birthday.

It all started when Colin, who walks to try and keep fit, decided he should have a target to aim at, with his 60th birthday on the horizon, he thought, why not do something really challenging & do the National 3 Peaks walk to mark the event.   Mentioning it to his friends, they instantly wanted to do it as well.

Starting with Snowdon, then Scafell Pike we aim to be on top of Ben Nevis on Colin’s birthday. All of us are what could be classed as “ fun or casual walkers” and also want the community to benefit in some way so we have decided use it as a fundraising event to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Cancer touches us all at some point, be it in person or through family or friends and Macmillan's ambition is to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer and to inspire millions of others to do the same.

Any amount, no matter how small, you could contribute, will help Macmillan improve the quality of life for those blighted with this horrible condition.
