On Sunday 8th May we (Pete Hartwell and Johannes Schulte) will take to the roads, streets and bridges of Dusseldorf in Germany to complete the MetroGroup Marathon. Along with upto 5,000 other competitors we will run 42km (26 miles).

 

There is a simple reason for this, we want to raise as much money as possible for our chosen charity UNICEF. As you can see from the photos we will try to do this dressed as 2 Rabbits to add to the challenge and make it fun!

"Johannes is a beast when it comes to running, he did last years marathon in under 3 hours. I can't think of a better way of slowing him down than a non-breathable, body-scratching, 100% polyester giant rabbit costume. With the added weight and wind resistenace I'm looking forward to see how quickly he can complete it this year, and can't wait for the starting gun to be fired on 8th May!!"

 

"I saw Pete running the marathon back in 2009 and I was impressed by his commitment and enjoyment throughout the race. Despite burning legs and serious pain he kept focused and managed to keep smiling whenever I saw him on the track.
