We fund care, campaigning and research to achieve a world free from MND

Story

In June 2015, aged 30, my brother-in-law David Greaves, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. MND is a devestating neurodegenerative condition which causes progressive muscle weakness and leads to paralysis and a dramatically curtailed life expectancy. At present there is no cure.

Dave and Philippa have faced his diagnosis head on and have themselves already raised over £10,000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.

A large group of us have decided to take on the feet of the Great North Run to raise some money for the MNDA. Some of us are seasoned runners and lets face it some of us are not! So, friends, relatives, colleagues we are counting on your support to urge us on towards the finish line and stick two fingers up to this devastating condition by helping the MNDA work towards finding a cure.

To Dave and Philippa - we love you. You are both amazing and we will do everything we can to help and support you. The strength and determination you have shown is totally gobsmacking. As your big sister I wish I could take this pain away from you but as I can't I'm going to give this everything I've got.
