Story

Welcome and thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

My name is Andrew Legg. I am a dentist and more importantly husband to Rachael and father of four amazing boys (James, Joshua, Oliver and Charlie).

Our challenge this year is to ride 250 miles from Manchester to London non-stop in 24 hours. Concieved as a mad cap idea and published to facebook, we now have 25 riders taking part in our own mini peleton!

As part of our challenge we would like to dedicate our efforts to our nominated charities.

The Karen Green Foundation was brought to my attention by Colin Campbell during his althetic achievements of 2012. Those with a young family cannot help but be moved by Karen's story and fight against leukaemia. The aim of the foundation is to make a difference to someone's life through the provision of small grants to people treating, researching and fighting cancers of the blood.

Any support of any amount wil be greatly recieved and through each small step we can all try and make a difference.

Thank you
