24 hour ploughing marathon · 1 November 2019

We support thousands of people living with terminal illnesses & their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home. We need to raise £12.7 million this year to provide our services free of charge – we can’t do it without you!

Story

My name is Sam Smith and I'm 15. I've lived and been involved with farming all my life. I've decided to raise some money for Myton hospice, a charity that has cared for several people we have known.

I am planning to complete a 24 hour ploughing marathon, a job which I enjoy and is also an essential job on the farm. With support from family, I will be driving a tractor and plough for 24 hours straight, hoping to complete the challenge, enjoy myself and raise money for others.

Thank you
