We are very excited to be hosting a 24 hour Craftathon in aid of Williams Syndrome Foundation. We are doing this in honour of Olivia, the grandaughter of one of our regular Craft'n'Cake ladies, who has Williams Syndrome.
We are hoping to raise A LOT of money during this 24 hour marathon of making, and we need your help!
* Starts at 12 noon Saturday 24th November until 12 noon Sunday 25th November
* At least 1 person will be ACTIVELY crafting at all times
* Any craft permitted, as long as it is fibre based
* Participants will be encouraged to make squares for the Olivia Blanket (details below)
* Participants can come for the whole 24hours or can opt in for a 'shift'
* Doors to the shop will be closed from 10pm to 6am for security
We will also have a raffle which will be drawn at the end of the 24 hours. Tickets can be purchased in store, or on the Just Giving Raffle page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/24hr-craftathon-at-sconch-raffle
If you want to join in, please let us know in the Facebook Event Page (https://www.facebook.com/events/1072517506244249/). We will be drawing up a rota in the next day or so with time slots. We are limiting the amount of people in each time slot (the shop is quite big!) but obviously we need to make sure there is someone doing something at all times.
1) Sign up for a slot to craft with us once the rota is published
2) Follow the link to this Just Giving Page and sponsor us! Any amount is helpful! Sponsor us here!
3) Buy Raffle tickets for the above raffle (prize details coming very soon) buy donating £1 for every ticket you would like on the Just Giving page (or by popping in to the shop). To buy online, please visit: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/24hr-craftathon-at-sconch-raffle (PLEASE NOTE, DIFFERENT ADDRESS TO SPONSORSHIP PAGE!)
4) SHARE this everywhere
Thank you!
