Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In April 2014, my 4 year old son Ruben was diagnosed with a brain tumour at Sheffield Children's Hospital.  Since then, they have helped him through 5 operations, many days and nights in hospital and ongoing chemotherapy.  All the doctors, nurses, surgeons and support staff could not have been better, and without the teams on M3, S2 and in Oncology clinic we would be lost.

I want to take on a tough personal challenge to raise as much as I can to help this wonderful hospital help as many kids as well as they can.

I'm hoping to be the first person to successfully ride the trans-pennine trail from Southport to Hornsea (207ish miles on tracks and small roads) in under 24 hours.  Any donations you can make are massively welcome, as is any help on the day - keeping me company, topping up drinks or giving me a snack would all be great!

Please follow me on twitter @24hourTPT if you want training updates and any other news... and share this with anyone else you think can help!
