We enable physically disabled people to to enjoy inclusion through technology

Story

Hi and thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Playing computer games may sound like a fun thing to do, but imagine, just for a moment, that you had a disability and could not use a standard controller or joystick. How would you feel if you couldn't be part of the game? Thats where SpecialEffect come in. They help disabled children play computer games through specialised equipment and controllers.

Myself, Paul and Scott are attempting '24 hours in Borderlands', where we will play the game Borderlands 2 non-stop for 24 hours on the xbox. Starting on Sat 31 Aug at 10am, we will continue to play the game without sleep and only a few toilet breaks.

Last September we three took our first pilgrimage as gamers down to the Eurogamer Expo where we saw first hand the work that Special Effect do. Having seen the work they do, we felt that we not only wanted but needed to give something back in some small way to these guys to help promote, raise awareness and of course raise cash for them.

Please sponsor us so we can help a child enjoy something we all take for granted.
