We provide support to bereaved British Forces Children

Story

RAF Wittering / 7 TPF

RAF Wittering Police Flt and 7 TPF have chosen to raise money for Scotty’s Little Soldier’s, a charity which is dedicated to supporting children & young people who have experienced the loss of a parent who have served within the Armed Forces.

Everyone will go through hardships, and that’s why this is a great opportunity for us to show our unity in talking about mental health
struggles, it gives us an incredible platform to show our support in helping to break the stigma of asking for help when it’s needed no matter the size of problem someone may be going through. Together we can make that difference!

This charity resonates with all military personnel and as such, we are looking to support them as best they can by raising as much money as possible in support of their cause.’

Scotty’s aim is to provide relief from the effects of bereavement for young people who have experienced the death of a parent who has
served within the Armed Forces regular and reserves. The charity provides people with support and guidance throughout their childhood and offers respite from the daily ups and downs of coping with the loss of a parent.
