The Tudor Sailing Club have teamed up with Team Raring to Row in support of children's charity Action Medical Research. They will complete a non stop 24 hour sponsored rowing relay on the 1st & 2nd July around Langstone Harbour.
In December 2022 Kevin Watkins (one of Tudor Sailing Clubs Rowers) will be undertaking the challenge of a lifetime when he, together with three other crew members (Helen, Gemma & Adam) will start a 3,000 mile unsupported row across the Atlantic Ocean from the Canary Islands to Antigua as part of the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge.
Please give generously and if you can join us then all are welcome to at the Tudor Sailing Club BBQ on Saturday 2nd July. All proceeds from the sponsorship, food and raffle go to Action Medical Research
for Children.
Action Medical Research fight for answers for some of the toughest fights our children face and team Raring to Row are raising funds to support thousands of children in the UK living with a rare disease for which there is no cure or very few treatment options. These children, and their worried families, urgently need hope of a better future – hope that only medical research can provide.
The funds raised by Raring to Row will support groundbreaking rare disease research across the UK. Research that has the power to unlock new treatments, cures and medical breakthroughs to help save and change these children’s lives.
