It is 22q11 Awareness month. Inspired by our Sister Polly who has 22q11.2 deletion we have decided to undertake a swimming challenge for 30 days. We aim to swim 2211m everyday for one month to boost awareness and fundraise for the charity Max Appeal.

We begin our swims on Saturday 13th November, swimming everyday for 30 days, and ending on day 30 with a community relay swim on 12th December.

Max Appeal try to ensure that every person with 22q11.2 deletion lives an independent and prosperous life. That's not mission impossible!

Our sister Polly is proof that living an independent and prosperous life with 22q11 is possible. This year she married the love of her life, Shane. Together they inspire everyone who they meet with their positive attitudes and determination to help others, work hard and achieve their goals. We want to help other people with this condition realise their potential too.
