Story
Homeless Action in Barnet opened its doors in 1997. It began life as a soup kitchen and has developed into a fully-functioning day centre catering for Barnet’s most vulnerable people. In a standard week, around 250 people will seek support from the experienced staff at HAB - as well as help to find permanent housing, visitors are offered food, access to showers and clean clothes and company
Our plan is to have a sponsored Cardboard Box Sleep out. Scouts will make their own shelters using cardboard boxes, newspaper and plastic bags and sleep in them.
