We fund equipment, facilities and research to make the best care possible for patients

Story

The former residents of 221 Cardigan Lane are fundraising for King's College hospital for all that they did to look after Conor after his accident.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What do you get when you add Conor Jackson, Red Wine, a 10 foot drop and a rusted gate post?

A lacerated femoral artery!

Following a rapid transport by ambulance to Princess Royal hospital followed by a transfer to King's College hospital, Conor received 4 separate operations over 7 days to seal his femoral artery and remove a potentially limb threatening aneurysm. Without King's College hospital's expertise and experience it is likely he could have lost his leg or worse. All of us at 221 are exceptionally grateful to all staff who maintained his quality of life.

In aid of King's College hospital, we will be attempting to climb all three of the tallest peaks in the UK in under 24 hours, namely Ben Nevis, Snowdon, and Scafell Pike. We will travel a total of 485 miles in under 1 day. In total the ascent will be 10,052 feet.

We would be very thankful for anything you could donate to help them keep doing the amazing work that they do.
