Welcome to Diana's Battersea Charity London Landmarks Half Marathon Fundraising Page

London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025 · 6 April 2025 ·
I am an avid runner that has dreamt of running for an animal charity in London. After researching Battersea, I loved their mission. I also loved that they offer a variety of other services for pet owners and animals beyond just being an animal shelter. Once I saw a Wire Fox Terrier for adoption on the Battersea website, which is the breed I grew up with and I am the proud mom of (Lord Henry Wellington), I took that as a sign that Battersea was the charity I needed to run for. I am proud to fundraise for this charity. Battersea goes along with my mission in life to make a difference daily in animals’ lives. I have a degree in animal science, and I am an (LVT) Licensed Veterinary Technician in the USA. I have worked with animals for most of my life, including in veterinary hospitals as well as in shelters as an LVT working alongside veterinarians doing low cost spay/neutering, exams, vaccines, medicating, animal intake, adoptions, cleaning and care of animals, etc. I know what goes into running a shelter on a day-to-day basis and it's a lot. Please help me in my mission to make a difference daily in animal’s lives and donate to me being a proud member of team Battersea. I can guarantee regular fundraising updates, daily social media updates of me in London at the Landmarks Half Marathon, a personal thank you and photos of me visiting Battersea. Thank you in advance on behalf of myself and all the animals your donation will go to helping.
Battersea will always be here for every dog and cat. Battersea takes dogs and cats in, gives them the expert care they need and finds them new homes that are just right for them. They help pet owners make informed choices, provide training advice, and campaign for changes in the law. And they help other rescue centers and charities at home and abroad because they want to be here for every dog and cat, wherever they are, for as long as they need Battersea.
