The Virgin Money London Marathon needs no introduction. As the most iconic marathon in the world, we want our team of Roy's Runners to hit the streets of London and raise both awareness and money so the UK's Lung Cancer Patients can expect better

Story

Lung cancer is the most common form of cancer in the UK and is growing at a rate of 44,000 new cases per year.  Lung cancer remains this country’s biggest cancer killer, with more than one person dying from the disease every 15 minutes.

Roy Castle is the only Lung Cancer Charity in the UK is focussed on achieving it's mission to "defeat lung cancer" through:

  3. Prevention

We are the only UK lung cancer charity dedicated to helping everyone affected by the disease. We fund essential research and provide much needed support, information and advice. We raise awareness and challenge the misconceptions of lung cancer. We do all this so those affected can expect better.
