So, I was out on my New Year's day run and thinking about a new challenge to take me through this year; (and not just your 'usual' New Year resolution type thing) and I decided it would be a bit of a challenge to see if I could run 2015 miles throughout the year of 2015. To keep me on my toes (quite literally), I thought perhaps I could put my physical fitness to some good use and raise some much needed money for people in a less fortunate position than myself and my family. After seeing how very lucky our boys,Toby & Ross, were this Christmas, it got me thinking about how so many children across the world are denied a proper childhood. Hope for Children,  based in the UK, is a charity whose mission is to help improve the quality of life and advance the right of children all over the world; giving them the chance to experience a childhood they deserve . They provide support to enable children to grow up with their own families and ultimately build a sustainable future for children and their communities. 

This charity caught my eye as I believe in their values; they understand that even the smallest donations can have a big impact; and, as a result, do everything in their power to keep administrative costs down so as much of a donation as possible go directly to the children they help.
