Story

My greatest passion in life is my family, my next greatest is Nature and Wildlife. I spend many weekends outdoors along with my wife Sonia and my 10 year old son Zach. So to use this passion to raise money for  'The Shooting Star Chase Childrens Hospice' is going to be great.

My intention is to live and eat off of the land for one month, hence my name for this charity 'one woodland, one fat bloke, one month' (my wife has been on at me for ages to lose some weight, so surley this will make her happy too!)

My challenge will start on April 15 to May 13, 2013 and to succeed in this means I will be using my knowledge of Bushcraft and Survival skills to eat only what I can forage from the land. I will be sleeping in a hammock, building my own shower and dunny and cooking all my meals on an open fire.

These children and their families at Chase Hospice deserve the very best we can give so please can I ask all of you to dig deep in to your hearts and pockets to help me raise as much as I can. All you have to do is hit the donate tab and give what you can now and please send this link to all of your friends.

Thank you.

Pete
