1st Wickwar Rainbows Act Your Age Challenge!
Fundraising for BBC Children in Need
Story
The money raised through the partnership between BBC Children in Need and Girlguiding will be split equally between the two organisations and will go on to make a difference to young lives across the UK. BBC Children in Need is a registered charity 802052 in England and Wales and SC039557 in Scotland. Girlguiding is the operating name of The Guide Association registered charity 306016 in England.
1st Wickwar Rainbows are raising funds for Children in Need and Girlguiding by completing the Act Your Age challenge.
The Rainbows are taking part in a range of activities involving their age or their age combined with Pudsey’s between now and 13th November.
- walking, running, scooing or cycle 5/6/7km
- reading 5/6/7 books a day for 5/6/7 days
- cooking or baking 5/6/7 new recipes
- learning 5/6/7 new dances and performing them
- skipping for 5/6/7 minutes a day for 5/6/7 days
- making 5/6/7 different craft items
- and many more!
They will also take part in some activities on Monday 9th November during our Rainbow meeting. We're hoping friends and family will 'sponsor' the girls through a donation to raise a target of £150.
