Story
1st The Queen’s Dragoon Guards, The Welsh Cavalry, celebrates St David’s day every year. However, this year we will be unable to celebrate in our traditional form, but this is not going to hold us back. The aim is that each Sub-Unit will complete 589 miles of running on the 01 March which will be tracked on Strava. This should total over 1050 miles which is the distance it takes to circumnavigate Wales.
The aim of this JustGiving page, is to raise money for the Regimental Charity Dreams and Wishes. This charity is dedicated to helping seriously ill children by making their dreams and wishes come true. They provide support for children and their families, as well as ensuring that families are still able to make wonderful and long-lasting memories.
Any money that could be contributed to this amazing charity will be gratefully received. The more money that we can raise will help those who are in greater need than ourselves. For the price of a coffee alone, you could be helping someone’s dream become a reality.
We thank you in advance and Happy St David’s Day from all members of 1st The Queen’s Dragoon Guards.
