'Taken from an exclusive illustration from the forthcoming book …Believe in Magic: Heavenly Recordings, The First Thirty Years, this t-shirt reproduces Nicky Wire’s handwritten lyrics for the song Spectators of Suicide from Manic Street Preachers You Love Us EP, released on Heavenly spring 1991.

In September 2008, Manic Street Preachers played at Forever Heavenly - a celebration of eighteen years of the label. The band performed just the six songs they’d released on the label. Interviewing Nicky Wire in the Langham Hotel a few days prior to the gig, I saw he’d written out the lyrics to Spectators of Suicide on hotel notepaper. The spikiness and youthful rage of the words were perfectly juxtaposed against the Langham’s beautifully opulent stationary. So, I asked if I could have it.

Putting the book together at the start of this year, I found Nicky’s words and handed them to …Believe In Magic’s designer Paul Kelly who decided they should mirror Nicky’s foreword in the book. They looked so incredible on the page, it seemed an obvious step to try to emblazon them across people’s chests. Huge thanks to Nicky and the band for lending us these words.' - Robin Turner, author of …Believe In Magic.

Last year, food banks in our network provided more than 1.6 million emergency food parcels to people in crisis. More than half a million of these went to children. It’s not right that people can’t afford the basics. With your help, we can help end the need for food banks. As a nation, we expect no one should be left hungry or destitute. Illness, disability, family breakdown or the loss of a job can happen to any of us. With your help #ThisCanChange
