We have decided to take on the challenge of abseiling down the Falkirk Wheel in support of Scouting.  We have been on a life changing adventure with Scouts during the last 10 years and want others, young and old, to enjoy the opportunities we have had.

At a more personal level, 2019 is an important year for our group, the 19th Argyll.  Two of the group members have been selected to attend the World Scout Jamboree in West Virginia with eight group members selected to undertake an expedition in rural Malaysia.  Whilst there they will undertake a range of community projects that aim to make a real difference to the people who live in the area.

The funds we raise will contribute to:

- the work of Scouts Scotland

- a partner organisation we are working with on the Million Hands project

- the costs of the international adventures we are off on this year

Running a bake sale would have raised funds - but it wouldn't be half as much fun (or as scary!).
