Fundraising for One-Eighty
Welcome to the One-Eighty Reading Corner! Here, you can challenge yourself to go on a new reading adventure. Our team have collated a list of some of our favourite books and we are excited to share them with you!
Donate £1.80 through this Just Giving page, you will then receive our recommendations and something to help you keep track of all your reading via email. Once you fill up your tracker you will receive a downloadable certificate to celebrate your achievement! You will also have access to our book review forms, for both primary and secondary schools on our website, we will send you a link to this. You can share your thoughts on every book you read and send it back to us at: fundraising@one-eighty.org.uk - we will then share your thoughts with other young people on social media.
In these uncertain times, we know it might be tricky to get hold of some of these books. Therefore, we will also provide you with YouTube links so you can read along with the video. We will also direct you to organisations who are providing free books and storytelling at this time.
We look forward to reading with you all!
One-Eighty is an organisation committed to supporting vulnerable young people in Oxfordshire and neighbouring counties. This remains a fundamental aspect of our ethos, and a motivation to ensure the wellbeing of those we work with, despite the threat of COVID-19. Our work is essential-interventions in normal circumstances (independent of COVID-19) are focused on supporting looked after children, young people with SEND, mental health needs, educational / learning, emotional, social, and behavioural needs. Our proven and highly-regarded approach to supporting vulnerable young people with complex personal challenges continues to lead the way for voluntary services across Oxfordshire. We remain open but are risk assessing staff and our ability to undertake face-to-face versus remote sessions daily to ensure the health and safety of everyone. We are also pulling together robust plans to enable the continuation of support but utilising alternative practices and technology e.g. home packs
* Charities pay a small fee for our service. Find out how much it is and what we do for it.
