18,000 steps a day for 18 days in May · 9 May 2021

Raising funds to support survivors of human trafficking. Join us this May and make something, move yourself, or miss something by giving it up.

Story

The Sophie Hayes Foundation offers a pathway to true freedom for women survivors of human trafficking through unique employability programmes. The pandemic has meant a shift to entirely remote programmes and a new hurdle to overcome: Tech Poverty.

I'm a Trustee for this amazingly powerful small charity, and so this May, I'm walking 18,000 steps a day for 18 days to raise funds to support as many survivors as we can through the programme. £180 will provide 1 survivor with the tools - together, how many women can we support? If you're able to:

  • £60 will cover the cost of a tablet
  • £35 will cover the cost of the course materials
  • £20 will pay for a month of Internet
  • Even a share of this page will help!

Thank you so much in advance, Mema :)
