Story
This is not my story .. this is about the stories of the young people whose lives the Harmeny Education Trust can positively impact and support to overcome trauma and adversity.
So I'm taking part in a Firewalk in November '22 to raise funds for Harmeny Education Trust and the #Learning for Life Appeal .. And what is Harmeny's aim you ask?
"To provide therapeutic care and education which helps children and young people overcome trauma and adversity, discover the joy of learning, and lead happy, fulfilling lives."
Damn right I'll walk on fire for that, and you can donate and roast marshmallows from my toasted feet! Hell, I'll EAT fire if I reach my target! .. No, no wait, don't hold me to that, one smoking Lindsay event at a time ..
Note, between now and the Firewalk I'll have other events and doings and will update / direct people to this page to donate. I feel a fire theme coming ..

Harmeny School is a national, sector-leading children's charity. They currently support children aged 5-14 who have experienced early years trauma due to abuse and neglect, enabling them to build positive relationships, make friends and rediscover the joy of learning at their residential school located in Balerno near Edinburgh. All funds raised will help young people who have had extremely challenging starts in life to get the spaces, opportunities and support they need to discover their potential and thrive. Your donations will help build vital new learning facilities to enable young people to remain at Harmeny until age 18 - avoiding another difficult transition at age 14 - and continue to learn vital life skills for their futures. Thank you
