Story
Hi, thanks for visiting my page - the London Marathon 3 Hour challenge. is the biggest goal I've ever set myself as without any endurance experience I will be trying to break the 3 hour mark for a marathon with just 13 weeks of training. I've already completed the first part of my challenge which was to raise £2K for AMREF Health by raising smashing my target and raising £2,310 (see here http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/13to3) Now I'm trying to raise the same for the Turbo Trust who support Eilidh and others like here. Eilidh currently needs a new motorised wheelchair after she was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) a debilitating & degenarative genetic disorder. The Turbo Trust helps provide grants for everyone whose mobility is taken away from them. If you're keen to know more about me and my challenge then please visit my website on www.13to3.com. Thanks again and hopefully see you on 24th April!
Please note: HMRC rules do not allow tax refund under gift aid if the donor insists it should benefit a named individual so please bear this in mind when making your donation. Gift-aided donations made via this page to the Turbo Trust will go into a fund at the discretion of the trustees. It is the trustees' aim to provide enough money for each beneficiary to order the equipment they need. And the trustees do take note of in whose name funds have been raised when they make grant decisions. The more gift-aided donations received here the more funds the trustees have to help Eilidh and others like her. If you only want to help Eilidh and cannot therefore claim gift aid, please contact her family directly, rather than donating here, as justgiving fees may reduce the value of your gift.
