Dear all,

We are 13 Platoon from The Somme Company, the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. We are going to be running 13 miles each over a period of 13 hours from the *POSTPONED DATED TBC*. The event will be similar to a relay, therefore some members of the platoon will be running their 13 miles through the night! The route will take us around the perimeter of the Academy a total of three times and will be ran in fancy dress - there are already two bananas booked in for the event!

We are doing this in order to raise money for Mind, the Mental Health Charity. Mind exists to give those suffering from mental health problems a chance to be listened to, and to provide that essential advice and support that could change someone's life. We believe that nobody should have to face a mental health problem alone.

Every single person in this platoon has been affected by mental illness whether it be themselves, a family member or a friend. These services are vital so please support us to support them.
