We will do whatever it takes to help you live life as fully as you can
Story
My wife Elizabeth Lilley was 35 when she was diagnosed with Terminal Cancer in 2009. The consultants believed she had already had the Cancer for up to 5 years and with a average life expectancy of between 10-15 years the news was a crushing blow to us and our two children James and Max who were 10 & 7 at the time. Sadly Liz lost her fight against this evil disease on September 17th 2016 aged just 42. During the 7.5 years that Liz received treatment and support she was cared for by MacMillan nurses who do an amazing job under incredibly difficult circumstances. I always swore that I would complete a fund raising challenge for MacMillan at some point and now is the time.
My challenge is to run 12 marathons in 12 months during 2017. These are officially organised races covering 26.2 miles and i will complete them all within the rules of the race organisers.
I will post regular updates on my progress during the year.
My first Marathon is in Telford on 28th January.
