Hi friends, As you know I work for and am very bought into this organisation called Just Love. I'm so excited about Just Love, because it has a vision to build a generation of students who are awake to the vast injustices globally, are convinced of the radical love and concrete hope in Jesus for the world, and are committed to confronting injustice with their whole lives! 

Since it started 9 years ago, Just Love students have raised over £160,000 for effective charities and have volunteered over 30,000 hours in local charities. They have started campaigns around ethical stash in universities, have protested climate change, have run conferences around changing narratives around gender based violence, have successfully campaigned for refugee scholarships in Cambridge, worked with the council and churches to start a homeless shelter in Durham and much more! 

To raise money for Just Love, I'm going to be walking, running, ice skating 125 miles this month. If you would like to support Just Love's work (and my sore legs), please donate to this page. If we get to £1250 I'll double the distance!

Other ways to get involved: Help me get to the distance by donating a sum and running the equivalent distance e.g. £10/10km. (Make sure to send me your Strava!)
Suggestions for silly things to do on runs will be accepted for donations £12.50 and above. Suggest an 125 related challenge.

Why 125 miles? 125 miles is the distance of the journey from my house to Oxford University, Birmingham Uni and Nottingham Uni. This is a journey that I have spent over 62 hours making in the past year. To highlight the wonderful Just Love groups I work with, and to pay homage to the frightening number of days of my life I've lost to journeying there... I will be making up the 125 mile journey by running, walking, swimming, ice skating, and anything else feasible this month! 

Just Love exists to inspire and equip every Christian university student to engage in social justice. Students involved in Just Love fundraise for effective charities, campaign, volunteer in their local areas and pray and learn together. Students engage in all sorts of important justice issues, from homelessness to climate justice.
