Yemen Crisis
Campaign by CARE International UK (RCN 292506)
After six years of conflict, the war in Yemen continues as millions of people face not only displacement and hunger, but the threat of coronavirus as well.

Story

Our Challenge:

We (Nirin, Sarosh & Serrina) have decided to take on a 12-hour charity walk without a break to raise awareness and donations for children deprived of food and shelter in Yemen. Weather permitting the walk will take place outdoors otherwise indoors (using treadmills). For proof that we have successfully completed this challenge, we will use an app to state our duration and distance of the walk which will be posted.

Our Aim:

This fundraising link has been set up early in order to raise a minimum of £2500. We have decided to take up this challenge on the 12th September 2020 to raise money for a charitable cause that is very important to us so please donate and help us reach our minimum target in aid of Yemen Crisis Appeal.

Our reasons for doing this:

We strongly believe that all children around the world are the future, it is imperative to help provide food, shelter and an education as their basic human right. We do not decide where we are born.  Any of us could be in their situation.

Anything you can contribute towards helping children will be appreciated!

Thank you.
