We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We're taking part of the 10 Peaks: The Lakes on June 28th, 48 km across 10 of the highest peaks in the Lakes District, that's 3200m of ascent, within 24 hours.

Although it is primarily a challenge upon ourselves (none of us having done anything like this) we will run in memory of my wonderful wife Carolyn who passed away in March last year. While her passing was totally unrelated to cancer I chose to raise money for Cancer Research UK this time, as this was a charity she supported and a cause she cared about. We all know people who went through or are going through a difficult fight with cancer, and we certainly know people who will, if not ourselves. So let's beat cancer as soon as we can!
