My good friend Richard Tolson 'Tolly' sadly lost his battle with cancer 12 months ago, his daughter Linz is raising funds for one of the charities that supported him during his illness by cycling 10 miles each day in June. I am going to ride with her (from a safe social distance of approx. 120 miles!) to show my support, and in memory of my friend. Brain Tumours can affect anyone, at any time. They are the single biggest killer of the under 40's in the UKEvery week approx 15 people are diagnosed with a brain tumour in Yorkshire. Research has been underfunded for brain tumours, with current treatments nearly 40 years old.We aim to fund world-class research here in Yorkshire to find treatments and a cure. Whilst we do that we will provide support to people living with and affected by brain tumours, emotionally, practically and financially for as long as they need us.
