We offer information, support and research to people affected by Crohn's and Colitis

Story

It has been 5 years since I last took on a challenge and now that the South West Coast 2 Coast is open, I have decided to up the game and undertake my biggest challenge yet: a continuous 102KM cross country, from Minehead to Dawlish.

I can't do a challenge without raising money for a good cause and this time is no exception.  This year, as my nephew turned 16, he was diagnosed with Crohn's disease, a form of inflammatory bowel disease which can cause complications.  Whilst there are therapies that can ease and reduce the symptoms, there is no known cure for Crohn's.

The Crohn's & Colitis UK charity provide support to sufferers as well as providing funding to a wide range of research projects, in order to explore as many avenues as possible to find the causes and possible cures for Crohn's.  Therefore, with my nephew in mind, I am choosing to support this charity in their work, in the hopes that he can ultimately benefit from a cure.

Thank you so much for your support!
