Story
Cox Automotive's UK Board will head to Snowdonia in June to take on a challenge for Ben's #BringItOn4Ben campaign.
The team will climb 10 mountains in 20 hours - a challenge that includes 10,000 ft of ascent.
Martin Forbes, Cox Automotive CEO said: "Our whole organisation is hugely passionate about the support and care Ben provides for former and existing colleagues within the automotive industry.
"That is why 8 members of my team, with varying levels of fitness and injuries are stepping outside their comfort zones to raise a significant amount of money for the charity. No one in the team has ever completed a challenge like this, and we're looking forward to tackling it together."
The challenge takes place over two days:
Day One - 10-11 hours over a distance of 21km and 5,412 feet of ascent.
The team will climb Moel Eilio (726m), Foel Goch (605m), Moel Cynghorion (674m), Crib y Ddysgl (1065m) and Snowdon (1085m)
Day Two - 10 – 11 hours of walking over a distance of 21km and 4,920 feet of ascent.
The team will climb Carnedd y Filiast (821m), Elidir Fawr (924m), Y Garn (947m), Glyder Fawr (1001m), Glyder Fach (994m)
In keeping with the global Cox Conserves programme, which seeks to reduce the business' environmental impact, Cox Automotive will arrange for 20 trees to be planted after the walk to offset the carbon emissions generated by travelling to Snowdonia.
