My run for Alzheimer’s Society · 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

www.100toRemember.com

One 100km run to remember my Grandfather - Harvey Taylor - who unfortunately succumbed to Alzheimer's and for all those who valiantly fought in WW2, as he did.

The Aim: 100km UltraMarathon run (Chartwell House to Cliffs of Dover)

The Date: 11/11/22

The How...

Connections and networks - it defines our brains, allowing us to process a vast amount of information in order to perform everything from basic tasks to phenomenal achievements. This is robbed from those who suffer with Alzheimer's - I want to harness the power of connections and networks to hit the fundraising target of £1,000,000.

Six degrees of separation - we are all connected in this world through 6 people who know 6 more people who in turn know 6 etc. If you are able to donate £2 and share this message with 6 other people who repeat this process - over £1 million would be raised in just 8 'phases'.

Please give just £2 and share this goal with 6 people - harness our network to make magic happen and to make it a run to remember.

And... if you want to make sure the hard work is going in, please follow on Instagram @100toRemember

Best,

Rob Taylor
