Story

For 40 years St Luke's Hospice Plymouth have been providing specialist end of life care and support to people from across Plymouth, South West Devon and East Cornwall, whether in the home, hospital or at our specialist unit at Turnchapel.

We care for people with serious illnesses such as cancer, motor neurone disease, heart failure, multiple sclerosis and chronic lung disease, treating any adult over the age of 18. We do all we can to involve patients in decisions about their care, to maintain privacy and dignity in providing that care and to respect patients individual rights and religious and cultural beliefs. Our approach to care is holistic, centred on the needs of the individual patient.

St Luke's hospice was there for our family and for mum in particular during her final days in the summer of 2022, during our darkest moments they provided her with sensitive, kind and expert care. They came out to us in the countryside at a moment's notice, day or night, to make sure she was comfortable and suffered no pain.

Thank you St Luke's, from the very bottom of our hearts.

Thank you to all our wonderful friends and family for any donations you are able to give to this brilliant cause.

Ros, Ana, Sara & Nick Kilby
