Story
My friends Henry Baxter, Tommy David, Benny Sharp, Max McConachie, Tom Royde, Mattia Maini, Sebbie Hebel and I have decided to cycle 100K (62 Miles) to raise money for the East Kent Hospitals charity.
We will be starting at Herne Bay and cycling along the Kent coast line past Ramsgate, then to Dover and Folkestone, finishing near Hythe.
This is a paragraph written by the charity that my friends and I have chosen to support: Staff across East Kent Hospitals have been preparing for the biggest challenge the NHS and the UK has ever faced. Whilst they remain dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care for our sickest patients, East Kent Hospitals Charity is committed to doing everything that we can to support our NHS heroes. With your support, we can fund emotional and wellbeing initiatives, vital additional equipment, and much more. East Kent Hospitals Charity raises funds for every ward, department and service across East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust, covering The William Harvey Hospital, Kent and Canterbury Hospital, Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital, Buckland Hospital and the Royal Victoria Hospital. We rely on our amazing communities for their support- enabling us to enhance the staff and patient experience by funding medical research, providing innovative equipment and facilities for patient care, and promoting a healing environment across our sites.
