Story
Barnet Shul is taking a stand. We are a community that is working towards Judaism becoming more connected, engaged and energising in our lives. We are building a multi-generational multi-spectrum community that works together to fulfill a dream; to make the light of Judaism shine in our lives.
A significant part of that mission requires a vibrant young people’s programme so that we can help the next generation in their Jewish journey. To that end, Rabbi and Rebbetzen Landau launched the ‘100 for 100’ campaign this Simchat Torah.
We are calling upon 100 people to each donate £100 towards the creation of a fund to support our young people. This will constitute approximately half of an overarching budget for 0-18 year olds. Another portion of the budget will be met by charitable grants and Tribe focused more specifically on youth. Our thanks go to those members who have been working tirelessly to support this funding.
Become an investor in our Jewish future. 100 for 100 for 100 - our goal is that within two years of programme launch we will regularly see 100 young people engaging with shul activities. This is approximately half of our young members; an ambitious target but one we can achieve with your help. Investors will receive regular updates on the progress of the initiative. Each investor will be creating an enriched Jewish future for one of Barnet’s children.
Join us in taking a stand. Become a 100 for 100 investor.
(All donations are directed straight from United Synagogue to the ring-fenced 100 for 100 account within Barnet Synagogue.)
